IFy Atelier is a creative studio dedicated to thoughtful print editions and illustrated works. The studio explores culture, landscape, and architecture form through carefully crafted work that invite reflection rather than distraction.
Creativity here is intended to feel grounding; something to return to, not rush through. Each piece is designed to stand on its own, offering space for curiosity, imagination, and quiet engagement.
Our philosophy
We value restraint over excess, craftsmanship over trend, and longevity over noise.
IFy Atelier’s works are meant to be lived with, not consumed and forgotten.
About the series
Iconic African Locations book series are colouring books created from a simple love for colouring as a way to slow down and unwind. While many colouring books offer beautiful designs, few focus on African landscapes and landmarks in a way that feels both calming and gently informative.
This collection brings together illustration, geography, and quiet discovery, offering a relaxed creative experience rooted in real places across the African continent.
Inspired by real locations
Each illustration in this series is inspired by a real location from across Africa and is paired with a short note on the facing page. These notes offer light insight into the geography, history, or setting of each place, without overwhelming the colouring experience.
The aim is simply to spark curiosity, whether that leads to learning something new, imaging a future journey, or noticing details you might one day recognise if you visit these places in person.

The approach
The artistic approach throughout the book is intentionally clean and balanced. Illustrations are simplified to encourage ease of colouring, creative freedom, and quiet focus.
The result is a colouring experience designed for relaxation as well as light exploration, suitable for returning to slowly rather than rushing through.
At its heart, this series reflects IFy Atelier’s wider aim to celebrate African geography and culture through creativity.
Places That Hold Time and Memory
Enduring Natural Forms
Mountains, valleys, and volcanic landscapes appear throughout Volume 2 as quiet witnesses to time. These illustrations invite slow colouring and gentle observation, encouraging focus on form, texture, and natural rhythm rather than complexity.
Spaces Shaped by History
Architectural landmarks and built environments in this volume reflect how place and people shape one another. Clean line work allows room for interpretation, offering a calm, grounded colouring experience rooted in real locations and layered histories.
Movement through Landscape
Paths, rivers, and routes recur across the illustrations, suggesting travel, transition, and perspective. These scenes are designed to feel open and spacious, encouraging creativity while maintaining a sense of balance and calm.
