IFy Atelier was founded on a simple observation: that diverse, multi-continental, and culturally meaningful content remains underrepresented in publishing.
The idea began in 2025, when the founder turned to colouring as a way to decompress whilst writing a novel exploring diverse, multi-continental cultures. While the experience was grounding, a gap became clear. Very few books explored African locations in a way that felt both educational and visually engaging. Drawing on experience in care settings, it also became evident that many lacked balance in accessibility, dignity, and depth.
The Iconic African Locations series was the first response, combining illustration with cultural context to create a more thoughtful and engaging experience.
IFy Atelier continues to publish work across formats, centred on culture, identity, and place.
