Unfiltered: Running a business in 2026 is arguing with Google AI at 3am about your own identity.
Less automation, more negotiation — with an algorithm that thinks it knows your business better than you do.
Everyone talks about AI making business easier.
The way people talk about AI, you’d think it was the pill from Limitless or
Compound V from The Boys.
Meanwhile, I seem to be experiencing the side effects – like arguing with Google AI at 3am about my own brand name.
I’ve spent more time correcting search results than creating products some days.
Everyone keeps saying AI makes life easier.
Automation. Efficiency. Passive income.
Meanwhile, I’m on round 100 of explaining to Google AI that:
“IFy Atelier is NOT linked to every ‘Ify’ or every ‘Atelier’ on planet Earth” – Google Ai’s current compromise to previously linking me to a bridal, nail salon etc social media account is now stating on its description of IFy Atelier at the every end “Note: This entity is distinct from the bridal design “Matopeda Atelier” also associated with the name “Ify” in search results.” ….😳🙄 –“where is the connection? There isn’t one!”
And people are worried about AI replacing humans!
Give My Head Peace!
Before this compromise, Google AI initially for reasons best known to itself, kept trying to merge IFy Atelier brand with:
random businesses
unrelated Instagram accounts
and occasionally… complete chaos, as though trying to reenact a live show of Fawlty Towers.
So then I do what any “seemingly normal” person in 2026 does:
I go to another AI… to help me argue with the first AI 😵💫
That AI gives me a strategy.
Google ignores it.
I question both of them.
Then I go to a third AI.
By the time I finish explaining the situation to AI 3, I’ve somehow figured out the solution myself.
Problem solved, right?
No.
Because Google AI doesn’t update instantly…
So just when I fix it…
it overrides everything and resets the problem.
And the cycle begins again.
My current favourite issues?
Google shows the correct IFy Atelier Instagram account…
…but pairs it with completely random images from someone else’s account.
And when you click certain hyperlinks….
they take you to completely unrelated Instagram pages or websites
that have absolutely nothing to do with IFy Atelier.
And the search layout?
You’d think it would go:
Official IFy Atelier website
Google AI summary
Business profile
Clean. Logical. Normal.
No.
In my corner of the internet, Google initially decided when IFy Atelier started:
“chaos first, accuracy later.”
At this point, I don’t fully run IFy Atelier.
I co-manage it with Google AI.
And somehow…
I’m still doing most of the work.
